I’ve currently got an unwanted 302 redirect. I’m struggling to find it on my site. My host tells me it’s a problem with wordpress, as the domain points to the wordpress files.

I’ve used http://www.redirect-checker.org/index.php to check it.

    Has anyone got any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Sucuri says the domain is redirected where if your WordPress was doing the redirect I’d expect Sucuri to show me that WordPress instead.

I could be wrong in assuming that…

I’d start with my domain records at my DNS to see if my domain provider is redirecting through a ‘forward’ mechanism or else if my IP address is the right address for the site I want to reach.

If that’s okay then I’d look at the host for the ‘invicta’ domain name to see if my control panel is doing the redirect somehow…

If that side seems clear then I’d look at my sites htaccess file if there is one and for something renaming or redirecting there somehow.

If not there then I’d dig into my WordPress looking for a redirect…

Since it’s coming up as a 302 redirect I’d probably think it was manually created somehow…

And if none of this helps then go back to your host for more help as they should be able to help you track this down. They may need to send the issue to their ‘second level’ support.

Who is that site that does come up as they are related to your site’s subject somewhat? That site is not WordPress based from what I can see.

You may need to call your host a couple times to find help there… don’t give up if the first support rep can’t find anything! But, you’d be better off finding the problem yourself first if you can.
