Unusable New Interface and Horribly Broken

    Yoast has always been the standard for SEO plugins in my opinion, but I have no positive things to say about this new version 3.0. The new interface is unintuitive, and hiding feedback until you’ve already entered info is awful. Plus having to edit the snippet directly is unhelpful. Finally, on at least one of my sites the plugin is completely broken and only shows “This is an example title – edit by clicking here” even after editing. I have no choice but to switch to another plugin that works.

    UPDATE:
    I have this on so many sites that moving away is a scary (but still on the table) prospect. I sure hope you at least fix the snippet editor—I can’t tell you how many times I’ve crafted a meta description and it just wipes it out because it’s so buggy. Truly I have no idea what you were thinking with this new interface. A separate stable field with instant (numeric) feedback was awesome, but this new system is a hit-or-miss nail-biting disaster where the outcome is anyone’s guess.

    Sorry it took so long for us to get back to you. Are you still using our plugin? We’ve made a ton of changes to Yoast SEO. You were having a lot of trouble getting used to the plugin back then, so we would love to know your feedback now.
