[Resolved] Unupdatable Plugins

  • Hi. I run a wordpress site and my wordpress installation says that these plugins have updates but when I go to the updates page it says that wordpress has no plugin updates available.

Is this normal, do I need to fix this like for example re-uploading “wp-includes” or something.

What plugins need updating – do you know?

    Hi esmi,

4 plugins currently need to be updated but the list is:
    – Auto Post Thumbnail
    – Simple Staff List
    – W3 Total Cache
    – WordPress Backup to Dropbox

Try switching to the 2012 theme and deactivating all plugins except W3 Total Cache. Then see if the Updates page shows the new plugins correctly.

It let’s me update after deactivating all but W3 total cache. Now I will just activate them one by one and get rid of the ones that break it. 🙂

Turns out it was Simple Staff List! That is de-activated for now.
