 * There’s no maximum PHP version WP Statistics stops working on. The only requirement
   is a minimum of PHP 7.4.
 * We actively test the plugin against PHP 7.4 through 8.4 in our automated test
   suite on every change, so any current PHP version is safe to use. If you’re choosing
   a version to run, we’d recommend something newer (PHP 8.1+) for the performance
   and security improvements PHP itself provides, but that’s a general PHP recommendation,
   not something WP Statistics requires.
