    Hi there

I recorded my bushwalk the other day and now would like to upload it to my website.
    I used a gpsmap 64

Only problem is that it has thousands of Place-markers (balloons) which I only want one for the start and then another on at the finishing point or non at all.

Can I edit these out of the file, or is there an option to switch them off?

The above link is the use of Flexible map

Thanks in advance for your help

    G’day Stephen,

Only the first KML file on that page exists; all of the others return 404 not found.

You can edit your files to rearrange them using KML elements. Currently, the first map has one Placemark (Segment 1) that contains a LineString that maps all of the points along your path. You could edit the file to have two Placemarks at the start and end coordinates, and remove the Name element from the original PlaceMark so that it doesn’t get a balloon.

Here’s your map with exactly that done to it:

    cheers,
