    Hi,

I am trying to use the new neural feature but cannot generate audio.

WordPress sends me the following error message:

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Amazon AI.

First, visit your website (https://dragoman.ist/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://dragoman.ist/wp-admin/admin-post.php) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

  • I tried to change my AWS region, enable Neural on my console but could not manage to generate Neural voices on my blog.

When Neural checkbox is ticked, and a new post is added or a former post is updated, play button does not work in the post.

    Hi!
    Which language/voice are you using?

    Hi,

I am using English. Without neural, all voices were working.
After I switched to Neural, none of them work except from Newscaster (Mathew and Joanne).

Is this because I selected Newscaster checkbox and it blocks all other voices?
I am trying to deselect it but my wordpress site gives a 503 error when I try to edit TExt to Speech settings.

    Any ideas?

Btw, you are doing a great job in developing an supporting this plugin. I truly appreciate it.

    Hi,
Yes – that’s correct. Neural voice is working just for those two voices for now. the plugin should make it clear that you won’t be able to choose other voice if neural is selected – i guess (if you got ugly error) – I might miss something. Sorry for that.
