unsolicited emails from WP developers

    So I’ve asked a question on the support forum, in fixing wordpress, and now I’m receiving unsolicited emails from WP developers touting for work, and I can see from my stats that they’re coming from here. Not sure where to put this at all, so sorry it ended up here. Also not sure if it matters to anyone else, but it does matter to me.

    No one seems to be answering my query in the support forum. Is this how we fix things now? By paying developers to help?

    No, just ignore and/or delete those emails. There are bottom feeders who troll the forums looking for work.

    If you’re seeing replies *in the forums* that are work solicitations, please use the “report” button over on the right sidebar. However, I’ve looked at the replies to your recent posts and I’m not seeing any.

    Phew! Great. Thanks for coming back to me. Worth flagging, though, if anyone else is experiencing it – i.e. good to know to just ignore them. 🙂
