My newly launched site is registering an error message for every page (including the wp-admin login page) in Safari and Firefox (both Mac and PC). The pages load, but as soon as they do, the error pops up and requires the user to either stop or continue the script (clicking stop is the only way to continue browsing).
I’ve loaded the most recent minified version of jquery and have also run some speed tests for the site. Apparently I have too many different hosts being called for every page. However, Im not really interested in losing functionality to fix the issue.
The error says:
Warning: Unresponsive Script A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: http://www.luxuryrealestatedc.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.4.4:16
I’ve installed the w3 Total Cache plugin, by the way, but that didn’t help. Im wondering if I need to host and minify my js onto a CDN to get it to work?
Thoughts? I really need this fixed ASAP. Not comfortable launching the site until it’s fixed.
