• After installation, Cookiebot seemed to work fine, but suddenly a payment was charged without any warning or clear invoicing. Support is unreachable, no response to tickets or emails. As a user, you have no idea what to expect.

    For a plugin that claims to focus on transparency and consent, this is anything but transparent. I’ve removed it and now use an alternative that is clear about pricing and actually provides support.

    Thank you, Hanna, for your response. At your request, we did indeed submit our problem to your support team again. And they’re meeting our expectations there as well. After approximately 15 emails, our problem hasn’t been acknowledged and no solution has been found. Referring to the terms and conditions is the only response, and we consider this a sign of weakness and a technical shortcoming. We accept our loss in this matter and will tailor our collaboration accordingly.

    For the readers of this review, I hope you’ll consider our response a warning before you collaborate with Usercentrics/Cookiebot.
