Hi, I have just installed you plugin because I want to make a private blog, just for a few friends. With your plugin I can now edit the “subscriber” role to not be able to read, but I have no control over unregistered users. Is there any way I could go about doing this?
    Thanks in advance

After extending my search a bit further I hit the “Resource” chapter of the “Roles and Capabilities” codex entry and found the plugin “Members” that accomplished what I needed.

    Hi,
Unregistered visitors have no role at your blog. Thus, User Role Editor could not help you here. But you can make your blog content private.

    Hi Vladimir,
About user permission I already mentioned the Members plugin, but about unregistered users i managed to get around that adding the condition is_user_logged_in() on the loop, given that the else statement would output a message saying “You do not have permission to be here”.

Both of these working together give me all the control I need to registered and unregistered users.

And thanks for your reply ;D
