Unregistered user writing post from front end

    I am a bit of a newbie to this. I have a nonprofit dedicated to the nearly 10,000 animal euthanized every day. What I want is for a user (whos is not logged in or registerd) to be able to write their own post for an animals. Please check out my website. http://www.alovinggoodbye.org and the page

    If you could lead me in the right direction I would really really appreciate any assistance. I have spent the entire weekend trying to get this to work with no luck. I have tried quick post (which wont let the user add a photo), tried WP Frontend post, WordPress Guest Post, and many more… none of which are letting me what I need. Something simple for someone to come to my site and write their own story with a photo for an animal. Thank you

    If you do this, you will be inundated with SPAM. You hope to get stories about animals but you won’t. You will get crap about “male enhancement” and cheap pharmaceuticals and stuff that is hard to fathom. We used to get a lot of spam about piano sales. Really? Piano sales?

    The low tech way to do this would be to create a page and allow comments. You can view the comments and repost the genuine ones to the blog as proper posts.

    That doesn’t get you the ability to upload images, though there is an outdated plugin that might still work.

    I understand…. I def dont want to be dealing with a ton of SPAM. Thank you. Do you know of a plug in that someone could “loggin” with their facebook account and create a post from that to submit for review? I think that would help get rid of the SPAM issue. Thank you for your input we are a nonprofit with zero funds to work with so I really appreciate your help.

    Yes there are plugins that allow login via external services. I have never used any so I can’t comment on how well they work. Here is one:
