    Hi,

    User A is online and sends user B a message. User B is offline. User B never receives email notification despite being activated under options “Enable Private Messaging” and “Enable Unread Message Notification”.

    Other email notifications such as new blog posts work.

    Email notification works only for unread messages. The email is sent for unread messages if it is unread for more than 30 minutes.
