Support » Plugin: Event post » Unpublished events appear in calendar

I’ve been using this plugin for a while, but just noticed that when I make a Draft or Scheduled post and give it an Event Date, the date appears in the publicly available Event menu on my blog.

For example, if you look at Nov. 30 on the calendar at the top right sidebar of the page I linked below, you will find a link to “Call for Submissions: MYTHIC wants sci fi and fantasy | rolling deadline.” But when you click through to this link, you get “Oops, this page can’t be found!” That’s because I haven’t published the post yet.

Is there a way to fix this, to have only dates from Published posts appear on the calendar? I have tons of Event Posts posts that are Drafts or Scheduled, and when I tried to go back to manually remove the Event Post dates from them, I was unable to. It makes me look really unprofessional to have a bunch of post links on my Calendar that link to an “Oops!” message. Thanks!

P.S. I have “Do not link posts with empty content” selected in the settings, but apparently that’s for something else?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    You’re right !

By default, drafts are hidden on front and displayed in admin, but the calendar gets events over AJAX (which is interpreted as admin side).

The query has been updated to explicitly call “published” events.

It’ll be in the very next release.
