unneeded files?

    okay this may seem like a silly question, but I just want to check first.
    are there any unneeded files with WP that I can delete? For instance the b2-img and b2-include folders and importing files. I mean, if I’m not going to use them, right?
    I already imported my MT files & everything, so….

    well u can get a clean installation by:
    renaming the old folder
    upload the fresh files in a new folder
    copy template/css/images and other required stuff from the old folder
    test for few days
    delete the old folder
    this way u delete any unwanted file…

    Files you can either delete or leave are:
    License, Readme, phpinfo, the import scripts
    it only saves a few K of disk space though, and leaving them there is totally fine – your WP install is completely secure anyway.

    Thanks, Sushubh, but I cannot rename the folder because it is installed in my main directory. 😉
