  • Hello,

My website is http://www.convertmedia.com/. At the bottom of the website, there is an unnecessary white bar that displays the text ‘; on the far left. I would like to remove this bar entirely, but I am unsure how to.

Additional question: How do I make a line break,
</br>, to portray a smaller spaced line?

    Thank you,
    Jordan

  • might be from one of your plugins, as those stray characters are within the area commonly used by plugins to add javascript via the ‘wp_footer()’ hook.

try to temporarily deactivate all plugins to see if that remove the stray characters; then reactivate one plugin at a time to locate the interfering plugin.

    Alchymyth,

Thank you! It appears that Wp anything slider is the problem. The text being shown in that unnecessary white box is ‘;, and when I try to remove that from the Wp anything slider code, the plugin shuts off due to a “fatal error”.

    Their site: http://www.gopiplus.com/work/2012/04/20/wordpress-plugin-wp-anything-slider/#.UoaINZR4Z8w

Any idea of how to proceed? I can give you Admin rights if necessary.

    Best,
    Jordan

as your plugin is not from http://wordpress.org/plugins/, you will need to contact the plugin’s developer for support.

this forum only supports the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on wordpress.org.
