• Adds nothing useful to your WordPress site. Only takes up space and resources. Their “A.I.” plugin is more like an “A” plugin. There’s no intelligence at all and is censored beyond usable.

  • Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. The Hostinger Tools plugin was built to help WordPress users handle essential tasks more easily, things like enabling maintenance mode, forcing HTTPS, managing redirects, or disabling XML-RPC for better security.

That said, your feedback is totally valid. If there are features you expected or ideas you think would actually make it more useful, we’d really love to hear them via live chat or email at support@hostinger.com, we’re always looking to improve it.

The only way to improve these “Tools” is to start from scratch and make something that is useful. Options like “maintenance mode”, “https”, “redirects” and “XML-RPC” are already available from H-Panel and/or most existing WordPress plugins. No need to add an extra plugin for those.

Using the A.I. tool is no progress at all, especially when using a non-English language. It takes more time to correct A.I. text then writing everything yourself from the beginning. The level of censoring is also ridiculous. Often one needs to reword (big) parts of text over and over just because “it” thinks it knows it better. I mean, petting a dog/pig/cow/horse is o.k, but don’t try that with a pussycat. When using Dutch, everything, likely, is internally translated to English first before it’s entering the A.I. part of the tool. Since many words have multiple meanings this is probably where it goes wrong. Also, in my country there’s much more freedom about what to write, and how, but now I’m bound to the intolerance of some English-speeking country. Thereby comes the character limit. It can’t be used with longer articles.

Apart from that, I also have a site with adult content. In such cases, don’t even try to use the A.I. tool. It doesn’t do anything except denying everything you type.

Aside form the default setting it needs something like an “adult” option to improve it, to completely bypass any kind of censoring. Also the max. text limit should be raised.

As it is now (or better, was, at the time I wrote my review) it’s a no go for me.
