 * I was working with my hosting provider on the issue of my site being slow and
   they suggested putting a ticket into my theme creators about the issue below 
   that they found. However, it’s not a theme file but a core WordPress file so 
   I’m asking about it here now.
 * My host found my site is keeping unnecessary processes open for an unknown reason.
 * The code on + Request 10: [http://memphistypehistory.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.11.0](http://memphistypehistory.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.11.0)
   is bad
 * Can you offer any insight into this for me so I can see about fixing it? Thanks!

 * From what I can tell, they’re right to ask you to reach out to the theme’s designer.
   jQuery is just a javascript library which WordPress provides for any theme to
   use, since it’s also used by the Dashboard.
 * If the slowness is on the front end of your site, then it’s more than likely 
   the theme’s interactions with jQuery causing the problem.

 * You can explore this relationship between WordPress and the issue by deactivating
   all of your plugins & switching to the default Twenty Fourteen/ Thirteen theme.
   Otherwise the issue is likely to be coming from a plugin or theme.
