    Hello,

I have a fresh install of the WP Real Media Library plugin, and yours. Most things works at expecte – I create a folder, I upload a new file and the new file gets the path I want. Almost; look at this url:

    …/wp-content/uploads/unnamed-file.PDF/test.pdf

The folder name is “PDF”, but for some reason “unnamed-file.” is added in front of it. Doesnt matter which folder. Any ideas?

    Hi there!

Unfortunely I can not reprocedure this. What plugins do you have installed on your WordPress installation? Can you confirm that this problem also occurs when you name the folder “PDFs” and upload file there?

    Best regards,
    Matthew 🙂

I was a little quick there. The other folder I tried was a subfolder of PDF.
Created a folder “PDFs” now and the URL is as expected:

    …/wp-content/uploads/PDFs/test.pdf

    So it works 🙂

Although another error, which comes when I click “Add new” when already inside a folder. When clicking “Add new” from root this does not appear. Everything works though:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/…/wp-includes/formatting.php:5100) in /var/www/…/wp-content/plugins/real-media-library/inc/attachment/Filter.class.php on line 116

    Thanks!

I think this is a bug / limitation of the function wp_unique_filename. It replaces the allowed extension of WordPress (for example mp3, pdf, jpg) with “unnamed-file” – even if it is in the directory name.

    Best regards,
    Matthew 🙂
