Support » Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com » unknown_token: It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken.

  • Hello there,

    I’m using Jetpack for years on my website without any problems. Today, I wanted to install another WordPress blog. But I was still logged to my WordPress account when clicking on authorize to connect my new blog to WordPress. I canceled and went back to disconnect myself first from wordpress in order to create a fresh wordpress account for my new blog.
    Since then, my new blog connected successfully to Jetpack/Wordpress but my old one broke completly. This is what I see inside the stats page: “unknown_token: It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken. Try disconnecting from WordPress.com then reconnecting.”
    On WordPress.com, I can see “unable to access your site”…something like this.

    Of course I tried to disconnect/reconnect, disable/activate, install/reinstall the Jetpack plugin. I tried to connect/reconnect on WordPress. I waited some minutes. Nothing works, I’m unable to connect again to my old wordpress account with my old blog.
    Please help me.
    Thanks.

    EDIT: Debug info:

    [body] => {"error":"Could not validate security token","error_description":"We were unable to validate a security token for Jetpack communication. Please try disconnecting Jetpack from your WordPress.com account, and connecting it again."}
    [response] => Array
        (
            [code] => 400
            [message] => Bad Request
        )

    Sorry about the delay in writing back to you. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!

    I have this same problem and sent you the log. Sorry did not put in our email address (service@thelastbestwest.com and website is https://thelastbestwest.com).
