    Hi,

I’ve recently noticed that I have a couple of redirects each minute that are comming from w3total cache.

I’ve enabled the log from Redirection plugin for all redirects and it shows me quite a few redirects each minute that have the same origin and target urls.

When I click ‘View data’ it says Redirect Source:

    W3TC\PgCache_Plugin->redirect_on_foreign_domain
    do_action('init')
    require_once('wp-settings.php')
    require_once('wp-config.php')
    require_once('wp-load.php')

Here is what it says: https://ibb.co/881DQfz

I do not use however any redirects in W3Totacl Cache settings.
    Is this a normal behavior?

    Thank you,

    Roman.

    Hello @woorooo

Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to assist you with this.
This is the public function redirect_on_foreign_domain() which is used if the option
Cache alias hostnames: is enabled in Performance>Page Cache>Aliases. This option is used to improve the compatibility if the same WordPress content is accessed from different domains.

    Thank you!

    Thanks Marko,

However it’s not enabled on my website and yet I still see those redirects in the log https://ibb.co/3p1q5pw
What could be wrong? Or am I missing something?

    Hello @woorooo

    These are not redirects.
The plugin checks if there is another URL and returns the home URL.
    Nothing to worry about here.
    Thanks!
