    Hi
    I moved to a new domain yesterday and when i am trying to connect with google site kit its returning an error showing (code: ‘redirect_uri’ mismatch). To fix this, redo the plugin setup.

    I have tried to connect by deleting and reinstalling the plugin but not working.

    Hi @gooffy294 I’d be happy to help you out here. I can see that currently you have both http and https versions of your site but your http version is not auto-redirecting to the https secure version.

    Can you use a plugin such as Really Simple SSL or redirection to ensure all traffic is directed to your secure version.

    Thanks for doing this and letting me know. So I can troubleshoot this further for you, please could you provide me with the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Did you have Site kit connected previously on your old domain?

    Once I have this information I will be able to assist further.

    2. Yes I had it connected but I already deleted the website then redirected the old domain to the new one.

    Thanks for the information. Please could you reset your Site Kit. There are two ways you can do this:

    • Go to Site Kit > Settings > Admin Settings and clicking on ‘Reset Site Kit’. See here.
    • If you are unable to access the settings section from the Site Kit plugin you can also do this by going to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit. See here.

    Please do note that this will disconnect you and your and any other user accounts from Site Kit and you will have to go through the setup once more.
