    Hey,
I installed the plugin and process the whole setup window.
at the end of the installation window its say that the installation is finished, and everything ok, and I can “close” or “create an AD”
for both of those options, my WordPress shows me:
“Something went wrong when connecting to Facebook!
    Please try again.”
I tried again several times, deleted the plugin, and reinstall it again, non of those help me solve the problem.
after seeing all the open topics and the reviews – I am understanding that this plugin probably isn’t the highest priority – so if there is no easy solution – I would like to get your help to remove all the changes and Permissions I accepted.
    Thanks

Hey @greentools10 – it sounds like you’d like to just proceed to removing the plugin entirely. You can do so by following the instructions listed here: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce-uninstall-plugin-and-remove-woocommerce-facebook-app/

There are, however, troubleshooting steps available to resolve the error you’re running into: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/troubleshooting-connection-errors/ – if you want to give that a go and let us know if it resolved your error, that’s cool too!

    Hey,
I want it to work, but the plugin doesn’t want it as much as I do.
I tried the troubleshooting solution – and the problem still appears.
    What can I do next?

    Hello @greentools10 ,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still facing this trouble with Facebook for WooCommerce.

Can you please check your WooCommerce > Status > Logs page and if there are any “fatal error” logs? If you have any share those with us.

Make sure you have 2FA (2 Factor Authentication) enabled for your Facebook account.

Also, confirm that you only have alphanumerical characters and hyphen in the wc_facebook_external_business_id field. You can find this field under your-site.com/wp-admin/options.php page. You can find detailed steps here.

Let us know the update after you go through the above items.

    Hey,
I did all of that yesterday.
    I enabled the 2FA
I only have alphanumerical characters and hyphen in my wc_facebook_external_business_id
and the error logs say: “01-10-2022 @ 15:47:40 – Unable to detect valid feed configuration: No catalog ID”
after I saw that error yesterday, I thought that my Catalog is broken – so I Created a new Business account In my Facebook, and New catalog (tried 3 times, 3 different catalogs)
    but the problem still appears

    Hello @greentools10 ,

Thanks for sharing the error log. I was able to locate a couple of cases with a similar error message. They had to reset their 2FA (deactivated & re-activated) to solve the problem.

Can you please try to reset the 2FA configuration on your Facebook account and let us know how it goes?

Also, try to complete the connection while keeping only WooCommerce & Facebook for WooCommerce as your active plugins. More details on how to perform a conflict test.

If the above doesn’t help, enable debug log on Marketing > Facebook > Connection page. Try to connect again, share the logs you see from WooCommerce > Status > Logs page by creating a ticket here: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

Please mention this thread if you are creating a ticket so that we can have the full context of this discussion.

    Thank you 🙂

I disable and enable the 2FA, but it never asks me to auth with something (I just do the regular setup, and there is no setup windows asking for second auth)
