Unknown config issue/setting I cannot find?

Hi all,

Apologies for a post that maybe simple to resolve. I am a .NET guy and am trying to help a family member with a WordPress site that was setup by a company that no longer exists.

I am aware that the site is very out of date but if I try upgrade, upload media or do anything on the site I get an error saying that it cannot find a local directory – presumably setup by the last dev who worked on the site e.g.

Uploading a new media file: The uploaded file could not be moved to C:\Webs\blah.co.za\httpdocs/assets.

Looking at the settings for media the default location is: http://www.blah.co.za/assets/

I have downloaded the entire site from the host and cannot find a value for “C:\Webs\” and I have searched the database and again cannot find the value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
