Universal overlay plugin?

    hello!

    I was looking for an overlay plugin for my blog to let popup a overlay with embedded media or just HTML. Now, there are some plugins like Shadowbox JS, but as I understood, they try to be smart and parse all the stuff automaticly to show e.g. links to YouTube as overlay.

    is there any plugin which allows you to generate overlay for any type or at least videos? I embed videos from blip.tv and vimeo.
