Support » Fixing WordPress » Universal anchor links

  • All the content of my site are on one page and each section is pointed to with an anchor link. However, from other pages, such as Cart, the #tickets naturally doesn’t work. The problem is easily fixed by adding ...com/#tickets, but when clicked on the same page, it reloads (navigates to the url) it instead of smoothly scrolling down.
How would you solve this (without a plugin for different menus on different pages)? How could I make universal anchor links that preserve the jumping function when clicked on the same page?

  • Sounds more like a problem to me that you should tell the developer of your theme. Themes usually provide such onepagers, including scripts for scrolling.

You can also post a link to your page here. Then you could see what it is or tell you who you should contact.
