    Hello,

we have been using your plugin Monsterinsights (free version) for 1+ years and we love how everything works. We created and use two analytics via Dual Tracking (Universal + G4 Analytics), we created it like this 1+ years ago.

Since Universal Analytics stops working on July 1st, we decided to stop it and use only G4, so we need a little help with that, also a question related to Google Ads.

What’s the best way to do this, should we delete the Universal Analytics Property and disconnect from the plugin and delete the code, then reconnect with just G4 or keep those 2, or just delete Universal Analytics? (we send pictures of how it looks in the plugin settings).

#We also get this when entering Google Analytics, should we go through this or not?

    #Google Ads:

As for Google Ads, our client created an account on Google Ads himself and was given a gtag to insert in the Header of the site, so he inserted it with the help of a plugin (we are sending a picture).

This number is not the same as the number of the main analytics. Should that code remain in order for Google Ads to work, or is it redundant and can be deleted?

Does Monsterinsights create that code for Google Ads themselves, or is it ok to leave it that way? We don’t want to have duplicate content data tracking, is this okay? Is there something more to be done in order to work normally and have all data from analytics and these two to be connected?

The client would like to monitor the entire status of WooCommerce in analytics, can it be done through this plugin, and will everything work as it should? (we know Monsterinsights has a Pro version with that capability, but the client would take the free solution).

One more question, we noticed that in Google Analytics we have 4 things (properties). Universal Analytics and G4 from Monsterinsight, that are used. The other two are G4 and some site that doesn’t track anything and it’s not connected, I guess we can delete that and it won’t be a problem? Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,
Assuming the plugin is kept up to date no changes are needed, and the plugin will automatically remove the code after GAv4 deprecation date.

Yes you can keep the other tag as is if that’s working for you. We do offer additional features for Ads with our Advanced Ads addon which would also remove the need for that snippet as it would add that + other features.

The Google Analytics default snippet doesn’t enable eCommerce tracking, it’s something we have to custom build in and support, and therefore is only available with our eCommerce addon, which includes all of the tracking and reporting for eCommerce both within GA as well as within the WordPress dashboard.

You can safely delete any unused properties that are not in use.

    Hello,

thanks for the quick reply, just to confirm, so as far as Universal Analytics is concerned, we don’t have to delete anything, everything stays like this and it will track as it should without duplicating the data tracking?

As for Google Ads, we have also connected everything and it works as it should, and also there is a chance to solve it through that WooCommerce plugin?

    Best Regards.

    Hi @vortexdizajn,

    Yes that’s correct.

For your other question, we’re not totally familiar with the WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration plugin unfortunately, so I’m not able to answer your question, but the WooCommerce team will likely be able to provide more expertise.

    Thanks!
