Unique code for each product sold (3 posts)

Hi I need to find a way to add a unique code to each individual product sold, so each item of stock would have a different code. This is a gift coupon code that will be used off site (on checkfront booking system).

Is there any way to hook into the individual stock item or maybe to the completed order email where I could add the code from a list?

Alternatively is there a way to group multiple single products(each with individual codes) under one parent product?

    thanks!

By default, other than "Normal Products" there is also Variable Products and Grouped Products are also available.

As an addition to these defaults there are some extensions such as
    Chained Products:

    Product Bundles:

    Composite Products:

There are also some coupon extension, maybe you can check them to see whether they are useful for your needs.

Thanks ManusH, unfortunately those only allow me to group multiple products to be sold in one order rather than listing and selling one product at a time.

The coupon extensions generate random codes, I need to be able to add codes from a pre-defined list.
