# Uninstalling the plugin

 * I would like to stop using the plugin and always want to make sure to remove 
   100% of the traces of a plugin when removing it, including any files and any 
   traces in the database.
    Of course I could simply deactivate and delete the plugin
   via the WordPress admin interface but this usually doesn’t do the trick completely.
 * Do you have any documentation or guidance on how to remove all traces of the 
   plugin?
 * Btw, your plugin seems to work fine, and has lots of nice functionality, so my
   impression is positive. It just turned out that what I wanted was possible with
   the standard WP functionality plus some custom fields.

 * Hi there. In terms of database, Link Library removes all of its data from the
   options table if you go through a proper deletion from your admin panel. Before
   deleting it, you may want to just use a plugin like Bulk Delete to delete all
   of the post items of type link_library_links in all post statuses. These do not
   get deleted by the plugin upon deletion. You should not find anything else related
   to Link Library after following these steps.
