• Hello @tomcoady.

The SQL looks good but perhaps the issue is the single quote surrounding _ebay_%, _amazon_% and _wpla_%. Please delete it and replace it with a simple single quote like this ‘ instead of ‘.

    Kind regards,
    John

You’re right, the code snippet on the original page has those typographic quotes, where one curls upwards and one downwards. That’s what you get when you type in quotes in Word and other apps.

But you need a more simpler quote, the ‘ single quote that’s straight and doesn’t come in a left or right version. So the code snippet should look like this:

    DELETE FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key LIKE '_ebay_%'
    DELETE FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key LIKE '_amazon_%'
    DELETE FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key LIKE '_wpla_%'

Let us know if this works for you.

    kind regards,
    Matt

Doh! Thanks for that. Now I don’t know why it says ERROR 1146 (42S02): Table 'example_com.wp_postmeta' doesn't exist.

    I have table names like

wp_rkmqv7_amz_locale_reference
wp_rkmqv7_amz_products
wp_rkmqv7_amz_queue
wp_rkmqv7_amz_report_log
wp_rkmqv7_amz_search
wp_rkmqv7_ebay_accounts
wp_rkmqv7_ebay_auctions

Yes, if your site uses a custom database prefix, then you’ll have to adjust the queries slightly.

The default db prefix is wp_ while yours is wp_rkmqv7_. So instead of wp_postmeta you’ll write wp_rkmqv7_postmeta. That applies to all SQL code snippets for WordPress which you might find on the web.

    kind regards,
    Matt
