 * I want to uninstall the plugin. Right now you can’t deactivate or uninstall it
   unless you deactive/uninstall the plugins it depends on. How am I supposed to
   know that. The plugin has no license. It was installed by a previous developer.
   It has no event or data to delete that I can find. Please Help!

 * Hi [@mountain991](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mountain991/)
 * Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.
 * If you could provide us with a list of your plugins, I can check which ones it
   may depend on. Alternatively, you can also send a screenshot of your active plugins,
   and that would be helpful as well.
 * Looking forward to your reply.

 * Hi [@mountain991](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mountain991/)
 * Thanks for your response.
 * Upon checking, the only plugin I found that appears to depend on The Events Calendar
   is “Divi Events Calendar.” Please try deactivating that plugin first, then check
   if you’re able to deactivate The Events Calendar afterward.

 * So yes, after deleting the Divi Events Calendar, I could deactivate the The Events
   Calendar Plugin. However I still cannot delete it. My problem is that a previous
   developer installed the plugin. My understanding is that when you install The
   Events Calendar, an Events page with the slug /events is created. Somehow that
   page has been corrupted. I thought if I deleted all the Events pages I could
   find , that I could reinstall The Events Calendar plugin and a new Events page
   would be created. However, that was not the case and now I am wondering how I
   could delete the plugin and start over with a fresh installation. Am I in the
   right ballpark? Thanks, Mark

 * Hi [@mountain991](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mountain991/)
 * Thanks for your response.
 * The **Events page** that our plugin creates isn’t an actual WordPress page, so
   you **don’t need to delete it** after deactivating the plugin.
 * To potentially resolve the issue you’re experiencing, please try **flushing your
   permalinks** by going to **Settings → Permalinks** and simply clicking **Save
   Changes**.
 * Let me know if this resolves the issue, and I’ll be happy to guide you further
   if needed.

 * thank you. so I tried the Permalinks suggestion but it did not solve the problem.
   So I went ahead and created an event an pubished it. Try this link and see if
   you can figure out the problem because the event I created is not appearing there.
   [https://nnefibershed.com/events/](https://nnefibershed.com/events/) I’m not
   even sure it should be but the text that appears there is not too readable as
   you will see.
 * I very much appreciate your help and patience.

 * Hi [@mountain991](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mountain991/) ,
 * Thank you for your message and the information.
 * When using the Divi theme with The Events Calendar, the Divi Events Calendar
   plugin serves as the in-between connection. However, since you have removed the
   said plugin, the issue with the [https://nnefibershed.com/events/](https://nnefibershed.com/events/)
   page could be because of that. For more information, see [https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/divi-theme/](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/divi-theme/).

 * Thanks. So my next step would be to put the Divi Events plugin back in and see
   what the /events/ page looks like. I also understand that I can use the Divi
   Builder to make custom Events pages. Thank you for the assistance and the links
   for further information. I’ll get back with you if there still seems to be a
   problem. I may also determine that Pee Aye Creative may be the ones to provide
   support for further issues. Many thanks and all the best,
