I’ve dug a little deeper – If I access my website using Incognito mode it shows up with headers/images all over the place. Inspecting an image shows https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/etc.

I then refresh the page and it loads correctly, showing https://i2.wp.com/etc.

All cache cleared, but something is holding on and not sure what – Just wondering if you’ve come across this before?

    Thanks.

Might have fixed it – Removed all caching plugins, removed all my ExpireByType from HTAccess file, removed JetPack.
Then, reenabled caching + jetpack and now seems to show correctly. Put HTAccess back and ran GTMetrix and no longer showing cdn.shortpixel.

Really odd, but obviously something was cached still that needed a nudge.

Will give Shortpixel a go on some of my other websites – Cheers!

    Hey @djcopa!

You were right. That was related to the cache; we have many issues like this one 🙂

    Have a good one!

Hello, I found this post after uninstalling both Autooptimize and Image Optimizer.

I disabled the checkbox on AutoOptimize –> Optimize images on the fly and followed the 3 steps here: https://shortpixel.helpscoutdocs.com/article/81-remove-all-the-shortpixel-related-data-on-a-wp-website

Yet in weird places still some images are served from shortpixel.ai/client.

    Here’s an example: https://sexualalpha.com/best-sex-furniture/

Why? Seems like removal isn’t working! How to get rid of it…!?

    Hi @dainix,

I suggest making sure you flush your website’s cache and then try again. Please do it in this order:
    1) Cache plugins (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, SG Optimizer, Autoptimize…)
    2) Server cache (SiteGround, Bluehost…)
    3) CDN cache (Cloudflare, StackPath…)
    4) Browser cache (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari…)

    Cheers,
