    Hi @ullsai,

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. Is this still ongoing? If you need support, please let us know.

We are struggling a bit to see how this might happen. Deactivating the plugin deactivates the settings, and consent management is automatically disabled. When the plugin is activated, you can choose to disable the cookie blocker, reset all settings, or enable the deletion of all data by Complianz when uninstalling under the menu-item: Settings.

In the wizard, there are multiple options to disable the cookie blocker as well. Either by telling the plugin, you don’t set any cookies or choose: Yes, Anonymous, while configuring Analytics.

All these options would stop Complianz from handling statistics.

Please let us know if we can help,

    regards Aert

    Hi @ullsai,

I’m pretty sure you reviewed the wrong plugin, or were looking at “residue” from another plugin. Because if you deactivate Complianz GDPR/CCPA, there is nothing left on the website: that’s technically not possible. When the plugin is not active, the code that inserts and blocks scripts is not active, so cannot do anything.

Regarding analytics: if Complianz blocks your analytics, this is usually because it needs to be blocked according to the GDPR. You can always configure Analytics so it doesn’t have to be blocked (anonymously). But if you don’t want your site to be configured for the GDPR, you need another plugin.

As @aahulsebos said, we’re always willing to help.

Something else that makes me think that you’re reviewing the wrong plugin: you mention “USER CONSENT NOT GIVEN”. That is not a message or warning from Complianz GDPR.

If you want to try our plugin and need some help with it, please let us know and we can assist you setting it up.
