I am a newbie and am confused with some of the answers I have read. I have very recently tried to set up on my server but like a fool I tried to repeat the installion. As a result the program comes up without all of its features(missing headers etc) I have read that I could use phpMyAdmin to drop each of 10 tables. How exactly do I do this. I also read that I could use FTP to delete WPfiles. How do I do this? Will I need to contact my server? I did say I was a newbie didn’t I. * With kind regards, Geoffrey Smith. When I used Fantastico I didn’t see any reference to an uninstall. * I know this sounds dumb, but how and which Icons do I delete in cpanel ? * Thanks for your help ! * Regards. * [ivovic](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ivovic/) * (@ivovic) * [18 years ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/uninstall-needed/#post-762662) * well, unless your host puts the database on a different server, you will likely have a “mysql databases” icon in the “databases” section, not far from the phpMyAdmin icon. * There you can hit the red X on the database to remove it completely without having to drop tables with phpMyAdmin. * Fantastico definitely has an option to remove installations though.
