 * I posted a topic without a title so I am repeating my query. I am a newbie and
   am confused with some of the answers I have read. I have very recently tried
   to set up on my server but like a fool I tried to repeat the installion. As a
   result the program comes up without all of its features(missing headers etc)

   I have read that I could use phpMyAdmin to drop each of 10 tables. How exactly
   do I do this. I also read that I could use FTP to delete WPfiles. How do I do
   this? Will I need to contact my server? I did say I was a newbie didn’t I.
 * With kind regards,
    Geoffrey Smith.

 * Do you know how to use an FTP program and how to connect to your phpMyAdmin install?

 * I am afraid don’t know how to run an FTP program. I thought that the phpMyAdmin
   install would involve removing files via Cpanel one at a time.

 * if you have cPanel, then you can use the cpanel file manager to kill files one
   by one – but it’s a LOT of them.
 * how did you get wordpress on there in the first place? If you used Fantastico
   to install it, then you can use that to uninstall it without all the effort.
 * Also, if you do happen to do this manually, don’t drop the tables in the database,
   just drop the database itself, using cpanel’s pretty icons.
 * I’d investigate the Fantastico thing further, if I were you, though.

 * Thanks Ivovic,
 * I probably will delete files one at a time under file manager.
    When I used Fantastico
   I didn’t see any reference to an uninstall.
 * I know this sounds dumb, but how and which Icons do I delete in cpanel ?
 * Thanks for your help !
 * Regards.

 * well, unless your host puts the database on a different server, you will likely
   have a “mysql databases” icon in the “databases” section, not far from the phpMyAdmin
   icon.
 * There you can hit the red X on the database to remove it completely without having
   to drop tables with phpMyAdmin.
 * Fantastico definitely has an option to remove installations though. It might
   be worth your while to investigate that further, unless you’ve already started
   deleting files one by one.

 * Thanks Ivovic,
    I have just spied a remove button on Fantastico to remove the
   current installation – don’t tell me it could be so simple?
 * Is that all I would have to do?
 * I have been reading a lot of apparent problems to remove files.
 * Thanks again for your help Ivovic.

 * it’s definitely that simple – especially when you tell people you’re FTP phobic,
   and you have cpanel – that was the hint I needed to get you to look at fantastico
   closer.
 * Not everyone has that available to them, which is why you see so many posts on
   the subject. FTP phobics, without the right tools.
 * Luckily you’ve got it all right there, which will make uninstalling/reinstalling
   or whatever a breeze.

 * That’s great Ivovic.
 * You have been a great help – It is amazing though that with all the information
   you get on google etc. a problem can seem harder than it is.
 * With regards,
