Uninstall EWWW Image Optimizer (wp_postmeta)
-
Hello,
I would like to totally remove EWWW Image Optimizer from my website even if it’s a greaaaat plugin π (using now jpegmini standalone).
I have uninstalled the plugin, removed the folder, cleaning the wp_option database but for all my posts metadata I have some ewww_image_optimiser value everywhere like this:a:6:{s:5:"width";i:460;s:6:"height";i:460;s:4:"file";s:20:"2015/01/IMG_3120.jpg";s:5:"sizes";a:5:{s:9:"thumbnail";a:5:{s:4:"file";s:20:"IMG_3120-150x150.jpg";s:5:"width";i:150;s:6:"height";i:150;s:9:"mime-type";s:10:"image/jpeg";s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:51:"Reduced by 8.2% (835 B) - Previously Optimized";}s:6:"medium";a:5:{s:4:"file";s:20:"IMG_3120-300x300.jpg";s:5:"width";i:300;s:6:"height";i:300;s:9:"mime-type";s:10:"image/jpeg";s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:52:"Reduced by 7.2% (2.4 kB) - Previously Optimized";}s:14:"shop_thumbnail";a:5:{s:4:"file";s:20:"IMG_3120-150x150.jpg";s:5:"width";i:150;s:6:"height";i:150;s:9:"mime-type";s:10:"image/jpeg";s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:10:"No savings";}s:12:"shop_catalog";a:5:{s:4:"file";s:20:"IMG_3120-300x300.jpg";s:5:"width";i:300;s:6:"height";i:300;s:9:"mime-type";s:10:"image/jpeg";s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:10:"No savings";}s:11:"shop_single";a:5:{s:4:"file";s:20:"IMG_3120-450x450.jpg";s:5:"width";i:450;s:6:"height";i:450;s:9:"mime-type";s:10:"image/jpeg";s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:52:"Reduced by 6.4% (4.2 kB) - Previously Optimized";}}s:10:"image_meta";a:11:{s:8:"aperture";i:0;s:6:"credit";s:0:"";s:6:"camera";s:0:"";s:7:"caption";s:0:"";s:17:"created_timestamp";i:0;s:9:"copyright";s:0:"";s:12:"focal_length";i:0;s:3:"iso";i:0;s:13:"shutter_speed";i:0;s:5:"title";s:0:"";s:11:"orientation";i:1;}s:20:"ewww_image_optimizer";s:29:"Reduced by 6.3% (6.4 kB)";}
How I can automatically remove all those ewww_image_optimizer to clean the meta data (I have thousands of photos, so manually is not possible) ?
Thank you !

You would have to write a script that would retrieve the postmeta column, unserialize it, unset the ewww values, and then update them in the database.
OK, too too much complicated for me…maybe should be part of the plugin with an uninstall option or ewww should have its own table for those information I guess.
Thanks.
