Under General Settings > Advance, AIOSEO will not let me activate and save “Uninstall AIOSEO” feature, where it will remove ALL AIOSEO data upon plugin deletion is executed.

@lechon This could be a JavaScript conflict.

To check, go to that screen and right click and choose Inspect, then click on the Console tab. Reload the page and then try changing that setting and see if there are any errors in red in the Console.

See if this only affects that one setting or all settings on that screen.

Also, try deactivating all other plugins and switch to the default Twenty TwentyOne theme and see if you can change that setting.

We tried every step that you have mentioned and nothing worked.

We saw this on the error console

    chunk-vendors.js?ver=4.0.15:57 POST https://www.mysite.com/wp-json/aioseo/v1/options/ 403

After seeing this we also disabled all security on the site including firewall, cloudflare and fully opened REST API. Still nothing worked.

You can make changes and save changes only by using the Wizard set up. Anything else like advance settings it will not work.

Can you provide us with a list of the tables created by this plugin and options created in the database so we can try to delete manually?

@lechon That error indicates that the REST API is returning a Forbidden error which could be a security plugin or, if you’re using a service like Cloudflare, then we’ve seen that when these services require a CAPTCHA to be passed before you can access that URL.

With regards to tables and options, AIOSEO v4.0 creates two tables:

    wp_aioseo_notifications
    wp_aioseo_posts
wp_aioseo_terms is created if you have the Pro plugin

You can find the settings stored in the wp_options table and the option names all begin with aioseo or aioseop.
