• I want to display the comments box on my blog page. I have some static pages, that I don’t want to display a comments box on, but I do want comments on my blogs. I have checked allow comments on my posts, and on my blog page, but for some reason, I don’t see the comments box. I see leave comments link at the bottom of the post, but when I click on it, nothing happens.
    Any ideas?
Also is there a way the visitor can generate their own password when registering? My brother said the password generated for him when he registered is not user friendly.

  • If the comment are not appearing on your site it could be because of the theme. Try switching to the tentyten theme and see if it works.

With regards to the visitor password, visitors cannot generate their own password when signing up, but once logged in, they can visit their profile and change it.

Thank you Christine for replying. I am using the Twenty Ten theme presently. Any other thoughts?

thank you for telling me about the password issue. I might put a little note on the page.
