  • I’m getting a very long list of this repeated message in the log. What is it? [**WARNING. Unhealthy Cron Request**] Posts seem to be working, but it is a little confusing to see so many error messages. I’m getting between 50 and 70 error messages like this between each successful post.

    Please setup WP Cron correctly.

SNAP depends on WP Cron and it’s better if you keep it healthy. It’s better for your site’s general performance as well.

I am also experiencing the “Unhealthy Cron Request” issue – it is filling up my SNAP log. Here is an example:

[2017-10-19 12:02:33] – [**WARNING. Unhealthy Cron Request**] [ [More info] ] – Too close (28.68s) to the previous one. Now – 12:02:33 | Previous – 12:02:04| Cron called from [IP REMOVED] (WordPress; [URL REMOVED])

I notice that SNAP has always had a cron set to run every minute (nxs_querypost_event), but this didn’t cause any problems in 3.x.

“Unhealthy” does not necessary mean that something is wrong. It’s just means your wp cron is not set in the correct stable way and it could potentially cause you delays, duplicates or unposted posts. If you don’t have any issues, ignore that warning.
