  • Simply Awesome !!!

WHY IS THIS NOT IN THE CORE, AND WITH THE ADDED FUNCTIONALITY TO EXECUTE PHP IN THE EDITOR???

No, instead we waste our time with useless Gutenberg !!!

Thanks for the plugin, it is a time saver for me. I can put the code in a widget, and display the widget in the content area via a shortcode… does the job well.

You’re welcome, but you should consider not using this plugin on live sites. It’s not exactly a safe plugin to use or anything. It’s safer than many others that have tried the same thing, which is why we leave it there, but if you need to execute PHP code in a widget, then you are better off writing your own custom widget plugin and putting the code into that instead.

Ah, thanks for the warning Samuel, I already have a widget that executes php code, and I can even use the widget with a shortcode. This plugin was eliminating that one extra step, which is not a big thing. That said, with all the craziness in this sick world we live in, security should always come first, so I’ll be using this on my localserver only. This also explains why something like this never made it to the core… it’s still pretty awesome though!
