    On my test site on my desktop running WordPress 5.1.1 and Woocommerce 3.5.6 I cannot place an order as I always get an error

    “Unfortunately we do not ship to ……”

    As far as I can tell I have set up my shipping zone the same as the live site, which is on earlier versions and works OK. But due to my inexperience with Woocommerce I would not be surprised if I have made a setup mistake.

    As my desktop is not accessible from the internet is there a way I can attach screenshots to this question?

    I tried deactivating plugins and returning to the storefront theme but still get the same problem. Status report:

    Thanks – at the moment we only want to ship to Turkey – which is country code TR as you may know

    Hi @jzlcdh,

    Thank you for sending those over. The shipping zone and free shipping do appear to be set properly. In WooCommerce > Settings > General, what do you have set for the selling and shipping locations?


    If those are set correctly, the next thing to look at would be in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Options. You can enable debug on shipping. This will give you a message on the front end of your site letting you know what the system sees matching the customer to your shipping options.

    Sorry for slow reply – have now recovered from a minor illness.

    That solved it – although I had set the selling location I had not set the shipping location in the general options.
