Unfavorable Upload Directory Creation

    New WP Install
    Latest WPMN Plugin

    When creating a second, third, etc network; the following string is added to Upload Path and the subsequent directory(s) folders are created.

    wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files

    Then in the ‘files’ folder you find
    > 2018
    > sites

    then if you open the ‘sites’ folder you find
    > 2

    In the ‘2’ folder you find
    > 2018

    This is madness

    So then (before you do anything else) you have to go in and manually edit the (Upload Path) so it says wp-content/uploads

    Delete/move everything in:
    wp-content/blogs.dir/2/files

    And then all subsites will be created with Upload Path set correctly

    Why are you creating upload path in blogs.dir?

    Why can’t it simply be ‘wp-content/uploads’?

    I’ve been using this system for a LONG time and surely appreciate the continued support. It used to be that all networks and subsites were automatically added to ‘wp-content/uploads so why the change?
