    Received this warning on install
‘The plugin generated 276 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.’
    What is happening?

Deleted and reinstalled the plugin and now I get this message.
‘Notice: Undefined index: do in /contextcanada.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/database-backup.php on line 40’.

After executing a backup I get this message.
‘Notice: Undefined variable: folder_content in /contextcanada.ca/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/wp-dbmanager.php on line 293’.

Deleted everything and installed the dev file.I uploaded the zip file.I got this message:
‘To correct this issue, make the folder /contextcanada.ca/wp-content/backup-db writable.’
However the folder was not created.

There is no access to the plugin through the admin panel so I am going to delete everything again and unzip the file and FTP it to the server and see if that works.

That didn’t work either! No folder created and no access to the plugin.

The dev version is meant to fix the “undefined” problems.

If the folder is not created means the plugin has no permission to create it (it is normal for some servers).

Create the folder and make sure Apache can write to that folder like chmod it to 777 for a start

Thank you for the response. When I try to access the plugins functions I get a ‘Page not Found” response from WP.I missed something in the installation! The Plug was in a folder called WP-DBManager-Master and needed to be renamed. With the Backup folder permissions reset everything seems to be okay.
