Support » Theme: Futurio » Unexpected footer padding space

  • Resolved Mariposalibre

    I have an unwanted space between the footer and the and of the page.
    The theme generates a style.css?ver=1.0.1 on an Elementor footer template I have done. There is an unwanted padding in the css I already modified writing a zero value.
    At the beginning was ( on row 721 style.css)
    .page-area {
    padding-top: 15px;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    The problem is the the value is not read because the style seams to be “auto-generating”. I do not really understand why this is happening. The footer has a color background and the bottom space is visible. Can you please help?

    This is 20px space under content area. It will be ugly, when text of content end without any space.

    There are 3 ways how to remove it.
    1. Use page content layout “Full Width & no gaps – Page Builders” (Documentation). This will remove all gaps
    2. Use custom CSS code (add it into Customizer – Additional CSS)
    3. Use negative margin for your footer section

    Do not modify style.css directly. Use child theme or Additional CSS in customizer. After any modifications, clear your cache.

    Hi, thanks ! In my case the generated footer template doesn’t need it.
    I solved by putting :

    .page-area {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    padding-bottom: 0px !important;

    in Customizer on css code tab for child theme. Was easier! 🙂 I tied the negative margine but did not work well.
    Thank you for your quick reply!
