    Hi

I’m struggling with an error in the csv upload process.
I have a CSV file with 7 rows inc Header.
I’ve created a target table using Data Designer for the data to be loaded into,
mapped CSV to the table with headings set correctly ( I think ) and validated the load using preview – all looks as expected

But … I’m getting errors in the CSV load process

I can send screenshots of the CSV preview, mapping and error ( looks like I can’t upload them here )

    Any help welcomed – thanks

    Hi Mike,

Can you add a screenshot of your mapping page?

You can use the contactform on the plugin website if you prefer to send it in private.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Hi Mike,

Sorry, I didn’t explain myself very well. If you go to the plugin website and scroll down to bottom, you will see a link to the contactform in the middle. Just send me a mail so I can reply. After that you have my email address and you can send your attachments.

Can you please do that? I need a full screenshot. If possible I would like to receive your csv file and the destination table script as well.

    Thanks,
    Peter

Peter thanks for all your help , once again a great job !

So in summary ( for anyone else who may be having problems )

We checked the target table design – using Explorer ( Manage and then columns) there was a mismatch in the expected column format –

    We fixed column definition by dropping the table and then recreating table ;
    – corrected format using Designer
    – exported sql from Designer to my local machine
-loaded sql using Explorer and checked columns

Reused the CSV that had had been loaded into Explorer, after re-mapping to the corrected table.

    Works a treat

    Many thanks Peter !
