# Unexpected error Image Block

 * Hi,
    I am using the image block. After saving the page, the images show as intended
   but at the back-end I get an error message (The editor has encountered an unexpected
   error), and I can’t edit the block anymore… Screenshot: [https://prnt.sc/njg3p0](https://prnt.sc/njg3p0)
   I found more people asking about it here, but all settings are different. Anyone
   knows how to solve this problem?

 * Thanks for reporting us this issue. As it turns out, the reason why the block
   error happened was because of the Open in New Tab setting. We’ll address this
   as soon as possible.
 * In the meantime, not ticking the Open in New Tab will avoid the block error and
   will keep the image block editable. If you tick the Open in New Tab, that’s where
   the error happens. It shouldn’t affect your actual site though. The image block
   will be editable again once we release the fixes.
