Title: Unexpected duplicate backups Last modified: August 31, 2016 --- # Unexpected duplicate backups * Resolved [wildmice](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wildmice/) * (@wildmice) * [10 years, 1 month ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unexpected-duplicate-backups/) * I have installed UpdraftPlus on a couple of sites where the backup size is 360- 390 megabytes, so there are a lot of resumes while these are processing. On both sites i noticed that before the backup was finished, a second backup got started. On one site i saw both processing at the same time. On the other site, when i came back to check, the backup had finished (successfully) but was running again. * Both of these are copying the database and the uploads folder, and sending them to another server by FTP. They both show overlapping resumptions (i.e. the process starts, then no activity is detected so UpdraftPlus believes that it has been timed out, so a resumption is started. The first process then returns). * This indicates that there are not enough resources available to efficiently process the backup.
