 * Greetings!
   I need to know if this is the correct plugin for what I’m looking
   to do…I’m newbie at Woo, and I have a need, to display areas of additional descriptions
   to individual products. For instance, each product would have 6 areas of global
   tabs with unique information for each product, such as the required area to place
   a plant, how often it needs water, etc.
 * I thought this would be the plugin, but after creating the global tabs, when
   I open a product page, I can see these tabs, but to edit them is to edit the
   tab itself which shows up on all the products.
 * Is there something I’m doing wrong, or am I not understanding the plugin correctly?
 * I appreciate the time of anyone who takes the time to read this….

 * Hi [@chowardart](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chowardart/)
 * Thanks for reaching out,
 * It sounds like you’re currently using **global tabs**, which are designed to
   display the **same content across all assigned products**. So yes, editing the
   tab content updates it for every product where that tab is applied. This works
   well for shared info, but not when you want unique content for each product.
 * If you’re looking to display **product-specific content** in those tabs (like
   watering schedules or planting info), you’ll want to use **local tabs** instead.
   These can be added directly from the product edit screen and allow for unique
   content per product.
 * At the moment, global tabs don’t support per-product custom content, they’re
   meant to save time when the same info applies to many products.
 * Let us know if you have any further questions. we’re happy to help.
