# Understanding Page Template

 * I’ve read the codex.wordpress.org about Page Template but a few questions arise.
   By using the template tag wp_list_pages(), WP will display each page accordingly.
   However, if I wanted to create a subpage and place it within the sidebar, how
   could I do that? Any help on how do to that it’s appreciated! Thank you!

 * Couldn’t you just specify the Page Parent in the Write->Page screen?
 * That would immediately make a page a sub-page of the Page Parent.

 * Hi Michael, THanks for the response. But I’d like to place the subpage inside
   the sidebar and not inside the navigation. Let’s say I have a About Page which
   appears on the navigation of the site. However, the following subpages I want
   to appear inside the sidebar.
