# Under “Write Post”, cannot change Category

 * I am new to WP. Installed Blix template (dont know if this is relevant).
 * Problem: I cannot change the Category for a post. To the right of the post I 
   see a column with 7 sections …
 * 1 DISCUSSION
    2 3 4 CATEGORIES 5 6 7 POST AUTHOR
 * Problem: None of the above buttons become active at all. The 4-way arrow just
   says “Click down and drag to move this box”.
 * I have looked for a solution w/o luck.

 * What happens if you click on the blue thing? Does it have a + at the right end?
   Click on it.

 * Wow, I just wrote a nice, very detailed, response, and when I went to post it,
   WordPress tells me I am logged out. All that time wasted? Ouch.

 * What “blue thing” are you referring to? There IS a 4-way + cross, with 4 arrows.
 * When I TRY to click on it, I get no result. Instead, all it says is ” Click and
   drag to move this box”.
 * I am NOT able to ENTER any of the 7 categories above. So, for example, I cannot
   change the Category for a post.
 * Is’nt that strange. The same applies to ALL themes.
 * 2nd problem is that for the Post and Page pages, none of the 18 edit tools have
   icons / images, therefore I cannot even modify text, such as Bold or italic.
