Undefined Message when Mobile Menu is Not Checked
-
Trying to use the menu system that comes with WordPress.
I have Menu #1 and Menu #2
When I set the mobile menu to #1 – it appears everywhere throughout the site including when Menu #2 should be there…
So I have unchecked the mobile menu…
AND I get an “undefined” error on the mobile menu which now displays the links…
Just trying to get the page to show whatever menu is showing on that page because if I need to change it – I just click on EDIT PAGE >> MENU >> SELECT MENU.
But there is no setting there for nav menu… just menu.

Does that make sense?
Wordpress added a “mobile menu” checkbox (optional)…
1. If I don’t have that checked, I get “undefined” in the mobile menu setting…
2. IF I do set that – the undefined goes away but now I have the same mobile menu all throughout the site even when I need another menu…
Also, why does the mobile menu stay closed?
Hello, can you send me your site url, I will know why you have this.
You can also check this article: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/457-mobile-menu-shows-undefined-wordWhere do I post it that is private?
Thanks!
You can open a pre-purchase ticket if you want but have you read the article? Did you check the different steps to see if you can already solve the issue?
Keep in mind – the undefined message only shows when the “mobile menu” optional is not checked. When I check it – it goes away… However, after I check it – the same mobile menu appears on every single page regardless of what menu is showing. The only way to override these settings is to create a custom header with a custom menu for every page which defeats the built-in Ocean settings.
This article does not mention the new “optional” mobile menu.
Create a pre-purchase ticket, I will ask you more information and you will be able to send me your site url.
