This notice is displaying at the top of our homepage on which we are displaying our latest job postings using the Recent Jobs widget:

Notice: Undefined index: show_logo in /home/bananashop/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager/includes/class-wp-job-manager-widget.php on line 133

We are under development & have WP_DEBUG turned on. This notice displays regardless whether or not we check the checkbox to ‘Show institution logo’. & all of our job listings have logo images attached to them.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

You mention “Show institution logo”; is that what the widget actually says? Because it should only have a checkbox that says “Show Company Logo”; I want to rule out that you’re somehow using a modified version of the widget.

On my end, though, I’m unable to reproduce this notice. It’s possible that there might be a conflict with one of your current plugins or your theme.

Try disabling all of your plugins except WP Job Manager (and add-ons). Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.

If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.

I would strongly suggest that you create a clone of your site as a staging site to do these tests, though; there, you could more aggressively troubleshoot (toggling things on and off, for example) without affecting your live site. Many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Let me know how it goes!
